AUSTIN, Texas - November 21, 2006 - In an effort to provide habitat for
the ocelot and build a partnership between landowners and wildlife

DENVER, Colorado - November 15, 2006 - The Colorado Division of
Wildlife (DOW) wants to remind people to take precautions with their
pets when living in coyote country. Several recent coyote attacks on
pets have taken place in open space areas and private yards in
neighborhoods adjacent to the Highline Canal and other Front Range
neighborhoods in proximity to the foothills.

DENVER, Colorado - November 14, 2006 - The Colorado Wildlife Commission
approved non-resident big game hunting license fees and set turkey
hunting season dates for 2007 at their November meeting in Colorado
Springs. Final action on a landowner preference pilot program was
delayed. In addition, the Commission was presented a check for $250,000
from the Colorado Wildlife Heritage Foundation and passed a resolution
addressing wildlife management and energy development.

DENVER, Colorado - November 13, 2006 - Colorado’s wildlife is the
subject of a new statewide public education campaign to be launched
Monday, November 13. The legislatively mandated campaign supports the
mission of the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW). The monies for the
campaign were financed through a 75 cent surcharge on hunting and
fishing licenses.
